Learn about life in the early 1900s at Fort Washita’s Kids Day!
Exciting demonstrations and activities include how to sew a quilt, churn butter, make a rope, play marbles, wash clothes, use a corn sheller and many other skills used in the early 1900s. Visitors can also enjoy the boom of the fort’s historic Civil War-era cannon being fired during a special demonstration.
